3. Video & Chat Privacy

Purplexa does not record video calls or store video/audio data. Video streams are transmitted peer-to-peer through our video infrastructure provider and are not saved on our servers. Text chat messages are processed in real-time for content moderation but are not permanently stored.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Purplexa:

• Supabase: Authentication and database services for user accounts and application data.
• Stream (GetStream.io): Video calling infrastructure for real-time video and audio communication.
• Vercel: Application hosting, deployment, and performance analytics.
• PostHog: Product analytics to understand usage patterns and improve the service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage data and analytics are retained in aggregated form. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. Video calls are encrypted in transit, and we use secure authentication practices. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
